The invitation is titled "Our most powerful roadster ever. The excitement is sky high" and then goes on to say that the Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is "crafted from an ultra-rigid carbon fibre monocoque for strength with light weight" and will be powered by the same 691hp (700PS) 6.5-liter V12 linked to an all-wheel drive system found in the coupe. <a href="http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2012/11/lamborghini-aventador-lp700-4-roadster.html#more">Read more »</a>

The first addition to the hugely successful Aventador, which has already sold some 1,300 units since its introduction in summer of 2011, thankfully foregoes the annoyingly fiddly fabric cover of its Murcielago Roadster predecessor in favor of a lightweight, two-piece hard top made out of carbon fiber.
