The 2-Series, which is to <a href="http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2012/09/bmw-to-debut-all-wheel-drive-1-series.html">the 1-Series</a> what the new 4-Series is to the 3-Series, will be the second model in BMW's range to adopt the firm's new nomenclature that calls for the use of an even number for sportier looking body styles, and an odd number for traditional saloons, hatchbacks, estates, crossovers and SUVs.
