When it comes to niches, Mercedes-Benz seems to have all bases covered. It has even launched an “estate” version of its existing CLS four-door coupe, but “with five doors and an elongated roof”…

In the SUV market, the three-pointed star already has the compact GLK, the mid-size ML and the full-on GL-Class and in a couple of years' time, the A-Class-based GLA compact crossover.

Aside from the aforementioned models, Mercedes also offers the recently updated G-Wagen for those who want Land Rover Defender-rivaling off-road capabilities.
